There are two ways in which you can get involved in the Friends of the Rotunda. You can either become a volunteer or you can become a fundraiser.

The Friends of the Rotunda relies on the efforts of its volunteers and  welcomes all levels of participation. It promotes high quality voluntary  activity and encourages good policy and practice procedures  throughout the Organisation.

Volunteers can take part in our fundraising events and/or activities and  are invited to help organise our National promotional campaigns.

…If you have experience in working in an office environment and can  offer some time to the Friends, you might like to assist with some  administrative duties.

Many people who have had a previous connection with the Rotunda,  like to show their appreciation for the care and treatment they were  given, by undertaking to organise a fundraising event, to help raise  money for the Friends.

The Friends welcomes such initiatives and actively encourages this  involvement whatever the event. Through its central administration, it  offers a full marketing support service to help you with your event and  can provide extra resources to help you boost potential sponsorship  opportunities.

Extra promotion of an event can be attained by using the Friends’ Web  Site and Electronic Newsletter. Sponsorship packages are available  and can be individually branded with the Friends’ Logo for authenticity.

If you wish to discuss your fundraising idea further, please ask your events  coordinator to contact Sheila Thompson, Marketing Manager, for further information.   (Telephone: 01 872 2377).
